One thing we’re sure of is that we are living in uncertain times. It’s hard to believe that just over three months ago, life was as we’d always known it. No one has a crystal ball to see into the future, but some things have been clear. Never has home been more important. It is our shelter in every sense of the word. In many cases, it’s where family members are rediscovering each other…playing board games, exchanging stories, sharing meals again. We’re blessed in the Northwoods to gain even greater appreciation for our beautiful outdoors. Spring is a special season which has been stretching out day by day here. Much of the ice is off the lakes. Snowshoes are no longer needed for walks in the woods. We know how fortunate we are to shelter in place in such a special region.
Life goes on and not everyone has the luxury to decide when they need to sell their property or to look for a new home. Real estate is considered an essential business and the industry has quickly adapted ways to create safe methods for every step of a transaction. Virtual homes tours, remote home closings, and many other options are available. Potential buyers are spending more time searching for properties online and we are always here to respond to messages, texts, phone calls, and emails.
As we said, never has home been more important. We are here to listen, to advise, and to guide you as we’ve been doing for home buyers and home sellers since 1983.
